وصل وزير الخارجية الأمريكي اليوم الأحد 2-2-2020، إلى كازاخستان في زيارة معلنة، وهنأ السلطات الكازاخية على استعادتها مقاتلي تنظيم “داعش” الإرهابي من سوريا والعراق.
ووجه بومبيو رسالة إلى مسؤولي كازاخستان هنأ فيها بإعادة مقاتلي “داعش” في العراق وسوريا، حيث استعادت كازاخستان حوالي 600 من مقاتلي “داعش” وأسرهم، بعد احتجازهم في مناطق كانت يسيطر عليها التنظيم الإرهابي في السابق.
وتوجه وزير الخارجية الأميركي مايك بومبيو إلى كازاخستان اليوم ومن المقرر أن يزور أوزبكستان أيضاً، في آسيا الوسطى لعقد محادثات مع قادة الدولتين اللتين تحظى فيهما روسيا والصين بامتيازات.
ومن المقرر أن يلتقي بومبيو في نور سلطان بقادة كازاخستان الغنية بالنفط قبل أن يتوجه إلى أوزبكستان الدولة البالغ عدد سكانها 33 مليون نسمة والتي تخرج من قرابة ثلاثة عقود من العزلة.
وتأتي الزيارة في إطار جولة تشمل أربع دول سوفياتية سابقة.
