هذا وكان كلٌ من ريال مدريد الإسباني، وبايرن ميونخ الالماني، وليفربول ومانشستر سيتي الانكليزيين، وقد حسموا تأهلهم إلى الدور ربع النهائي الأسبوع الفائت.
