أعلنت هيئة الصحة في إقليم الجزيرة حالة الطوارئ لمجابهة فيروس كورونا المستجد وتشديد إجراءات التعقيم والوقاية كخطوة احترازية.
عقدت هيئة الصحة في شمال شرق سوريا اجتماعاً طارئاً في مقر الهيئة في إقليم الجزيرة بمدينة قامشلو، لاتخاذ جملة من القرارات والإجراءات الاحترازية لدرء خطر فايروس كورونا ولمنع دخوله وانتشاره في مناطق شمال وشرق سوريا.
وأكدت هيئة الصحة في شمال وشرق سوريا عدم تسجيل أي حالة إصابة بفيروس كورونا ضمن مناطق شمال شرق سوريا.
الرئيس المشترك لهيئة الصحة في إقليم الجزيرة منال محمد صرح أنه تم اتخاذ عدّة قرارات لمجابهة فايروس كورونا خلال الاجتماع، منها إعلان حالة الطوارئ في شمال وشرق سوريا، وتشديد إجراءات التعقيم والوقاية من الفيروس، وزيادة حملة التوعية التي تقوم بها هيئة الصحة، ومراكز فحص الأفراد للتأكد من وقايتهم من الفيروس.
فيروس كورونا ظهر لأول مرة في الصين منتصف كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2019، ويشكل اليوم خطراً جدياً بعد تخطيه الحدود الصينية، وانتشاره في كثير من دول العالم.
